1.3 Terminal Functions

IRS
H/L
This terminal selects the resistors for V0 voltage level adjustment.
IRS=H: Use the internal resistors. IRS=L: Use external resistors.
Parallel/Serial data input selection.

P/S
H/L
P/S=H: Parallel data input P/S=L: Serial data input
When P/S=L, D0 to D5 should be fixed to H. /RD, /WR are fixed
to either Hor L. Serial mode does not support read operation.
When IRS=L: VR is output voltage adjustment terminal.
3 VR

V0 voltage level is regulated by an external resistive voltage divider
attached to VR terminal.
When IRS=H: Keep VR terminal open.
4 V0
- Power supply for LCD drive. Connect a capacitor to VSS.
5 V1
- Power supply for LCD drive. Connect a capacitor to VSS.
6 V2
- Power supply for LCD drive. Connect a capacitor to VSS.
7 V3
- Power supply for LCD drive. Connect a capacitor to VSS.
8 V4
- Power supply for LCD drive. Connect a capacitor to VSS.

- DC/DC voltage converter capacitor 4 positive connection

L /WR signal for 8080 series MPU. Write data at rising edge of /WR.
Data or instruction selection.
28 A0 H/L A0=H: D0 to D7 are display data.
A0=L": D0 to D7 are Instruction code.
29 /RES
L Reset signal, active L.
30 /CS1
L Chip selection signal, active L.
Note: C86 terminal is fixed to Lon ITO glass. 8080 series MPU interface is selected.
